About

An independent escape room website

The Hidden Door is an independent escape room at Shop 2A, 546 King Street, Newtown NSW 2042. These pages explain themed spaces, puzzles, and group problem solving. This is not a video game, a retail shop, or a franchise listing.

Reach the venue on +61 2 9553 2111 or [email protected]. The site describes how a puzzle visit works. It does not publish prices, opening hours, or a calendar of open sessions.

What this site is for

Visitors can explore theme concepts, read how an inquiry works, and prepare questions about a group visit. The published contact details are Shop 2A, 546 King Street, Newtown NSW 2042, +61 2 9553 2111, and [email protected]. Opening hours, a staff list, and a live calendar are not on these pages.

An escape room works because the room itself is the puzzle. The story gives people a reason to search. The locks and notes give them something to test. The group supplies the memory: one person holds a number, another holds the place it might belong. The Hidden Door’s pages stay at that level of description so a later visit is not spoiled by a walkthrough.

  • Room pages describe categories, not named rooms on sale.
  • Photographs show real escape-room spaces. They are not pictures of Shop 2A.
  • The inquiry form opens an email draft. It does not take payment or store the message.

  1. Puzzles first The activity is searching, noticing, and deciding together. The site does not promise a win or a scare.
  2. Plain scope No ratings, awards, visitor counts, or staff biographies are shown, because none have been verified for publication.
  3. Next step When you want availability explained, call, email, or use the booking inquiry. Nothing is reserved until The Hidden Door confirms it.
