Group events

Ask about a visit for more than one person

Group play is a natural fit for escape rooms because the puzzles are shared. This page is a way to describe the request you want to make. It does not publish capacity, exclusive use, included services, or a corporate package. Send the question to [email protected] or call +61 2 9553 2111. The venue is Shop 2A, 546 King Street, Newtown NSW 2042.

Team activity

  • A request about collaborating on the same challenge.
  • Useful when a group wants a structured puzzle visit.
  • No team-building guarantee is stated here.
  • Availability still has to be confirmed.

Private group

  • A request that the visit be discussed for one group.
  • Privacy of the room is not promised on this page.
  • Share the group context in the inquiry notes.
  • A request is not a hold on a time.

Friends and family

  • A gathering built around shared searching and conversation.
  • Age suitability is not published, so ask before you plan.
  • Whether a concept suits first-time players should be confirmed.
  • Confirm the actual experience before inviting people.

Celebration inquiry

  • You may ask whether a birthday or similar gathering can be discussed.
  • No celebration package is listed.
  • No add-on services are included by default.
  • Use the inquiry form to describe the occasion.

What to include in a group question

A useful inquiry names the kind of gathering, a preferred concept, a preferred date, and the size of the group as you currently understand it. Those notes help a later conversation. They do not reserve space. If the occasion has a cake, a speech, or people who will not play, say so. The Hidden Door has not published a celebration package, so those extras have to be asked about rather than assumed.

  1. Occasion: team visit, private group, friends and family, or a celebration question.
  2. Concept: mystery, detective, adventure, puzzle, or “not sure yet.”
  3. Preference: a date or time you hope to discuss, clearly marked as a preference.
